What age groups do you teach?
I am qualified to teach from 6 months through to adults!
Do I need my own pool?
Yes, as I work as a mobile swim teacher access to a pool is essential. I choose not to work out of Public Swimming Pools and open waters due to lack of control and predictability.
I do also work at a private local Canning Vale Swim School and recommend that if you don't have pool access to contact me and i can point you in the right direction. (I hear the weekday AM teacher is pretty good 😜)
Does my pool need heating?
Ideally yes. When teaching infants and young children water temperature is very important not only for them to be comfortable but also for safety reasons. Small bodies lose heat faster therefore warmer water is safest.
During winter months a heater is a non negotiable.
The temperature of your pool should be between 27 and 33 degrees for lessons.
What area's do you travel?
I travel with in 30kms of Canning Vale.
Travel fees may apply however these are kept to a minimum and should another client be booked in before or after your session the travel fee may be reduced or waved.
How are Fees Paid
I work on a per lesson basis you are not locked into a term however you can request to have reoccurring lessons weekly same day/time.
Lessons are to be paid in full on the same day as the lesson is completed. Payment can be made in Cash, Bank Transfer or Eftpos.
If using Bank Transfer please use your last name and date as reference.
What if i need to cancel?
.
As i mother myself i know things change way too often. I ask for 6 Hours notice to cancel or reschedule any prebooked lessons, a $20 Cancellation fee will be issued for late or not notified cancellations.
Confirmation texts are sent out 48 hours before your lesson. Please note that if you do not confirm your lesson I will not attend.
If your little one is booked in for a morning lesson and has woken sick please let me know ASAP via text message.
What do i need to have for the lesson?
Appropriate Swimwear, sun protection and goggles.
The cost of the lesson includes the use of all my swimming equipment however I do ask you supply your own goggles.
Please ensure the pool water is tested prior to lessons to ensure correct chemical levels and the pool is free of debris.
Do i need to get in the water too?
The choice is completely yours unless you are the one learning!
It is preferred that for the toddler learn to swim lessons that no one else remain in the pool to discourage distraction. In saying that a parent or guardian must remain at the residence at all times.
